Journalism professor Wendy Bacon

Wendy Bacon is one of Australia’s most famous investigative journalists. Her former career took a turn after being arrested some ten years ago.

The Information and Media Studies Professor lives with her husband in Newtown now. She is teaching journalism at UTS.

In the interview with AYCM-Author Peter Jagla Wendy talks about her first years in Melbourne and the reason why she moved to Sydney.

She says “Life’s taken some turns for me [...] I don’t look back.”


In the second part of the interview journalism professor Wendy Bacon speaks about the concentrated media in Australia.

“I would not say media in Australia is free!”
